We're inviting you to watch an online presentation of the Design Dining project on Thursday, 22 April 2021 at 11am through live streaming on our Facebook page.

Our chef at Ljubljana's restaurant Tabar, Jakob Pintar, will also join the conversation and together we'll explain where this project will take us, who will be a part of it as design or business mentors and what kind of content will be created in the following months. There will also be some time dedicated to your questions about the programme or open call.

Deadline for the submission of concept designs and prototypes for the limited edition design pieces that will constitute new Slovenian Design Tableware, is 18 May 2021. More about the open call and application process you can find here.

This open call is launched under the programme DESIGN DINING: Slovenian Tableware Design, which is carried out by the Museum of Architecture and Design and the Centre for Creativity under the auspices of EU Distributed Design Market Platform. We will select up to 10 designers who will receive financial incentives to design a new product, to be used as a table setting, and also produce it (as a limited series). The selected tableware series will be presented at pop-up dinners and exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad.
